This year’s Southeast Regional Sisterhood Rally was hosted by the colony chapter of Virginia Tech at Roanoke, Virginia.
It was a weekend full of fun, laughter, and sisterhood.
It was great seeing sisters from all over the Southeast Region and being able to bond with them even if it was just for a weekend.
“The eleven-hour car ride was surprisingly such a joy! I was able to get to know my sisters even more and had so much fun with them. I loved taking pictures in the gas station!” -Monisa
“This was my first SESR and I absolutely loved it! The car ride up to Virginia was so much fun; never a dull moment. It was nice meeting sister from our region especially reuniting with my psises from USF. This weekend was a great bonding opportunity for everyone.” -Julie
This year’s theme was “We Run the Word” and two forums were held, one discussing Risk Management regarding relationship violence and the other a personal health and fitness talk led by VTech charter and alum, Marylynn Morales. She also led a zumba and insanity workout.
We ended the day with a seven-course dinner at Pho Vietnam! We were able to share the meal with our chapter buddies, which happened to me our host chapter, VTech!
It was such a fun weekend. Props to VTech for doing a great job with SESR. We’re looking forward to SESC!
