Sisterhood Spotlight

This sister is beautiful inside and out. Recently, she spent Spring Break aiding locals in Costa Rica as part of a medical mission trip! This Health Science major (on the pre-OT track) doesn’t just strive to make the world a better place abroad, she does so at UF as well. This talented and accomplished—yet humble—sister is always willing to share her gifts, whether it be through a flawless show performance or her strong leadership abilities. This hard-working sister is also actively involved in shaping the Greek community on our campus – she’s served as a Florida Greek Ambassador and MGC’s Assistant Showcase Director, after which she was awarded the Outstanding Director Award! Since crossing in Spring 2013, this IRIS-award winner has come to embody what it truly means to be a sister of aKDPhi and inspires other sisters to do so too by her example. In our Chapter, she’s served as Reveal Coordinator, Rush and Social Chair and is the present VPE! This stunner can do it ALL, and she makes it look so easy. We love you #71 Kathleen “BALMshell” Contreras; you’ve caught our hearts (just like those flags), and we thank you for all you do!
