Why I joined aKDPhi: When I joined this organization, I had no idea what I signed up for. I questioned myself time after time whether it was worth it and if it was meaningful, but I continued anyways because I started getting closer to a bunch of girls that were at first strangers. Honestly, I never really had an answer to why I stayed, but looking back on everything at this moment, I can’t explain how grateful I am to have joined aKDPhi because it was one of the best decisions that I made in my college career. Not only did I gain skills such as public speaking and leadership, I also matured and personally grew a lot from being involved on campus and within aKDPhi. It definitely is a once in a lifetime experience, and I truly owe it all to my sisters- from the laughs to the memories and tears. I know that they will continue being my support and family for the rest of my life because once you join aKDPhi, it is an everlasting, lifetime sisterhood.
