What I like: Being close to the waters, traveling, being with family, using metaphors in my conversations, eating, attempting to cook.

What I do: Event coordinator for SOS Tropical Pleasure Walk for SOS Children’s Village, worked with K-Kids at a local elementary school, camp counselor.

Why I joined aKDPhi: Joining aKDPhi is truly one of the few experiences in my life that has been so influential to me and yet so hard to put into words. I grew up extremely attached to my family, and, after arriving at this huge university surrounded by so many unfamiliar faces and hundreds of miles away from home, I had never felt so misplaced in my life. After meeting some of the sisters from aKDPhi, I finally felt like I had a place again. Being a part of this sisterhood gave me the sense of family, culture and confidence that I had been so nostalgic for.
