What I like: I’m a true Florida girl in the sense that I love to do anything outdoors whether it be going for a walk on a nature trail, going to the beach, or kayaking in a lake. I’m really big into health and fitness, so I’m always trying to look for fun new ways to exercise and stay active, whether it be through aerial dance, rock wall climbing, or group fitness classes such as BOSU. I love eating at new restaurants and cooking meals at home. I’m always looking for new recipes and ways to make meals healthier. Another hobby of mine is to collect cards, flyers, and ticket stubs from memorable events or from people I love. I have two “memory boxes” full of cards that I have received and it is fun to go back and read them. Some of my other hobbies include baking, Pinterest crafting, and reading.

What I do: When I’m not at the gym, in the kitchen, or traveling, I am the co-director for the 2014 Asian Kaleidoscope Month Mr. & Mrs. AASU pageant and a volunteer on the Mobile Outreach Clinic through UFHealth.

Why I joined aKDPhi: After almost 3.5 years of college, I still felt like something was missing. I had immersed myself in different areas of campus life but I still didn’t feel like I had done everything I wanted to. aKDPhi filled that void and gave me sisters who support me, encourage me, and are always there for me. I have met so many new people and have built bonds that will last a lifetime. I feel like I have finally found an organization that I can call home.
